I am happy to be here today to show you

a new layout I made for 2Crafty Chipboards.

 

"Capture"

 

This funny picture of my oldest son taken during our family vacation

last summer was my starting point for this layout.

Small Film Strips were embossed with dark blue embossing powder

and distressed with touches of white gesso.

Clock Face Disks were basecoated with black gesso and embellished with mystic blue wax.

Some parts were sanded to recreate a worn effect.

White gesso was also added here and there.

 



Capture title from Mini Word Set 1 was painted with navy acrylic paint
and distressed with white gesso.

Hello,

I am so happy to be on the blog today to show you a summer layout
 I made using 2Crafty Chipboards.

Beach is one of my favorites themes to scrapbook. 

The color palette is inspirational and there are so many embellishments we can use with it
...and among the beautiful 2Crafty chippies!!!

You will find a process video at the end of this post. I hope you will enjoy it.

Love ya to bits title was first embossed with a light gold embossing powder and then embellished using dark bronze and vibrant copper waxes.

Leafy twig branches were cut into smaller pieces and tucked under the flowers. 

They were partly covered with dark bronze wax and then dry brushed with white gesso.

The same treatment was used for the lacey signpost chipboard –

dark bronze and vibrant copper waxes were used as a basecoat and white gesso as final touches.

Voilà déjà avril à notre porte. D'ici quelques temps, les belles journées seront enfin parmi nous.
Pour nous faire patienter encore un peu, je vous présente une page d'inspiration bord de mer pour Scrapbook Tendance.

J'ai aussi utilisé de vrais coquillages que j'ai disposé à quelques endroits autour de ma photo.
J'ai aussi utilisé une découpe exclusive à la boutique ainsi que du rafia.

 

 

 

Hi there,

I'm here today to show you my latest 2Crafty Chipboard layout.

I started by randomly applying a light coat of mint wax over the Moroccan panel.

Once dried, I played with two tones of green Gelatos to create a verdigris look

 and then added a vintage gold coat of wax on top of it to replicate an antique finish.

 

I used a green-gold embossing powder over the title.
 

I dry brushed white gesso over the viney circle frame and a
few touches of white gold wax here and there.

I painted the lock green using Gelatos and highlighted it with gold wax and white gesso.

Hi,

 

In my part of the world, spring is just around the corner. And after a rough winter, I am definitely ready for warmer weathers, longer days and outdoor activities.

 

This layout is all about enjoying these outdoor activities that we are so happy

to practice again when spring finally arrives. Sometimes simple things are the best.

 

I started my layout by tearing off several pieces of paper and
placing them on top of each other using cardboard to create dimension.

 

I then placed some pieces of Fencing wire panel under some pieces of paper
and applied white gesso using a dry brush.

 

After applying a layer of white gesso onto the Picket Fence piece, I added a layer

of white crackling paste. When it was dry, I dried brush brown ink over it.

 

 

Fine and fancy butterflies were dry brushed using white gesso.
 

 

Follow your heart title was embossed twice. First in white and then in rose gold.

Hi 2crafty fans,

 

I'm here today to show you my latest creation using beautiful 2Crafty chipboards.

 

This time I went with warm tones for my background and light colors for my chippies.

 

With two boys, I don't use pink often. But when I do, I like to combine it with yellow.

The final result is always super interesting!

 

I wanted a short and discreet title. For the occasion, I chose a word from the Fine Word set 3.

I cut both ending swirls and embossed it with a bronze powder.

After applying white gesso as a basecoat to Ava's Frame, I embossed it with a light cream powder.

 

Then, I used gold and bronze waxes to add contrast and dried brushed white gesso here and there as a final touch

 

After cutting one piece of the Leafy Shrub set 1 in two and placing it on both sides of my picture, I used the same coloring technique as for Ava's frame.

 

The keyhole and Addy's butterflies were covered with antique gold embossing powder

and a touch of white gesso.

2Crafty Chipboard CSI case 272

Hello 2Crafty fans!

This month, 2Crafty is guest designing on the CSI Colors Stories Inspiration blog. 

Here is my layout for case 272.

As I wanted a winter theme, I used a monochromatic color scheme except for a few touches of burgundy, moss green and light denim.

As always, I started by applying white gesso on all my chippies.
This way, the embossing powders colors applied on top are vibrant.

I used an olive embossing powder to cover 4" mandala no.1.
One layer is enough of cover it up nicely.

Amelia Flowers stems were embossed with a light moss green powder.
Their silver reflection compliments the winter accent of my layout.

Finally, the Cherish title, part of Fine Word set 1, was embossed with a sparkling vanilla powder,
one of my all time favorite embossing powder!
