Once upon a dream pour 2Crafty Chipboard

Hi! I'm here today to share another

project with fantastic 2Crafty chipboards.

This time I was inspired by a spring theme and created an almost

monochromatic layout using earthy tones.

I started by applying white gesso on my title.

I then used an avocado green Lindy's Magicals to color it.

Once dry, I embossed it with a clear shiny powder over which I dried brushed white gesso.

I basecoated the groovy flowers and keyhole with vintage gold wax and

then applied brown Gelatos over them to get a vibrant contrast.

I used gold/green embossing powder on the leafy twig branches and

then dry brushed white gesso on top of them.

Hi 2 Crafty fans! I hope the new year finds you well!

 

I'm here today to show you my first post for 2 Crafty Chipboard.

 

Where I live in Canada, January is associated with snow and cold weather.

And that is what I tried to recreate on my layout.

 

 

 I applied white gesso over all chipboard pieces as a base coat.



 

When the gesso was completely dry, I randomly applied blue shades

of water-soluble oil pastels over the title. I then covered most of it with white gesso.

 

The remaining blue shades are creating a discrete shadow effect.

 

 

I used the same process for the flourish frames but kept most of the blue shades instead
of removing it.
 

I also dry brushed white gesso here and there to add brightness to my layout.

 

I applied a coat of white pearl embossing powder over the three snowflakes.

Nous voici de l'autre côté des vacances de Noël. J'espère que les vôtres ont été agréables.

 Pour faire contraste à toutes les magnifiques créations de Noël que nous avons vu au cours des derniers mois, j'avais envie de vous présenter une page hivernale tout en douceur.

Pour ce faire, j'ai principalement utilisé des teintes de turquoise puis à la toute fin j'ai ajouté une touche de rose.

Mon fond a été réalisé à partir de crackle paste blanche sur laquelle j'ai appliqué des encres bleues.

J'ai ajouté des découpes de fleurs roses provenant d'un kit Scrapbook Tendance.

Mon titre a été embossé avec de la poudre Gold Rose.
